Japan- Earthquake and Tsunami

Hey,

I’m writing today on a more solemn note, I’m going to write a little about the Earthquake in Japan and the Tsunami that followed.

I’m sure your aware of it, from the radio or from the news. The Earthquake registered 8.9 on the Richter Scale and was the strongest earthquake in Japan since record began.
This earthquake has already cause 1897 deaths and there are still 3002 people missing. As well as this there has been major destruction of peoples homes, shops and general livelihood. The rebuilding of these homes is now made harder by persistent aftershocks and a collapsing economy.
The tsunami has also caused a lot of damage to a couple of Nuclear Power stations with the possibility of meltdown and leak of radioactive material.

Please keep the people of Japan in your prayers and thoughts so that they may rebuild there lives, and also prey for and consider the families that have dead or missing relatives, so that they may find comfort.

Thanks for reading,
Dan
